Ben Jackson is one of the best young storytellers of his generation. In a relatively short career, Ben has shared stages with a variety comedic heavy hitters like Damon Wayans, Jamie Kennedy, John Whiterspoon, Theo Von, Thea Vidale to name a few. In 2019 Ben Jackson released his first comedy album It's Tough on all streaming platfoms and followed it up in 2021 with TOO TOUGH. Ben was awarded Best Comedian in Houston by Broadcast Houston 2023. The Real J Cann started his comedy career as a party promoter, hosting events and cracking jokes to keep the crowd engaged. He soon realized that he had a natural talent for making people laugh, and decided to pursue comedy as a profession. He has performed at various venues and events across Houston, such as the Improv, the Joke Joint, the Laugh Factory, and the Houston Comedy Festival. He has also opened for some of the biggest names in comedy, such as Mike Epps, Tony Rock, and Rickey Smiley. The Real J Cann’s comedy is inspired by his own life experiences, as well as his observations of the world around him. He covers topics such as relationships, family, culture, politics, and social media, with a unique and hilarious perspective. He is not afraid to poke fun at himself, or to challenge the audience with his edgy and provocative humor.
